Coaching
My coaching method is a Game-based approach using modern technique that is constantly being updated. This method is applied to all ages and levels in group and private lessons.
I love the game and I want others to enjoy it in the same way I do. The time that anyone spends on the court with me or my coaches should be the highlight of their day.
Children can enter the program at any age and level since the Game-based approach ensures players learn more quickly and enjoy sooner the full experience of playing a game of tennis.
This also applies to adults. Through my coaching method, I can guarantee beginner adults will be playing social club tennis after six months.
For kids aged three to six years the focus is on developing fundamental motor skills including throwing, catching, skipping and jumping. Skills are introduced using modified equipment such as small racquets, low compression balls and mini nets.
Seven to nine year olds learn and experience all the fun aspects of playing a game of tennis, like serving, rallying and game-scoring, and are introduced to modified competitive play.
Ten to 14 year olds focus on organised social and competitive play using advanced technique.
Teenagers aged 15 years and over are encouraged to continue competitive level tennis. At this age other options become available such as learning the skills to become a coach through a coach traineeship program.
A successful competitive player can also be eligible for the highly specialised elite training program, which is tailored to meet individual goals and expectations.
Adult players of all levels are catered for through group lessons and organised playing sessions with people of similar standard and private lessons to refine technique and improve overall fitness.
Coaching is available at both clubs at times to suit you. There are private lessons throughout the year, group lessons in eight-week terms four times a year and regular holiday clinics for children.
See you on court!
